Tour guides
Most of our guides have 10 years of experience in tourism, are trilingual and have a basic knowledge of the countries indigenous local languages, e.g. Herero. They are born Namibian that grew up close to nature, which creates their broad knowledge base with special interests like fauna, flora, ornithology, ethnology, geology and photography conveyed to our clients. We request a proficient knowledge of specified, remote areas and mechanical skills are a prerequisite for our guides.
Accommodation
We strive to find the right balance of the price and service ratio for our client’s accommodation on safari. While planning our Safaris, we try to avoid mass tourism where possible and take care in choosing accommodation establishments with great individual ambiance.
Vehicles
We use mostly vehicles with low milage, depending on the route and amount of passengers: a Landcruiser 4x4 (seating a maximum of 3 guests) for the Kaokoveld Lodge Safaris and the camping safaris, which is extremely robust and suitable for off road driving in river beds and other remote areas.
Microbuses, seating a maximum of 7 guests, are used for the Lodge Safaris, which are comfortable, air-conditioned and have excellent view while on game drives and sightseeing.
